What this site actually does with data
Short version: not much beyond standard traffic analytics. Here's the honest, complete list — no boilerplate for things this site doesn't do.
Hosting logs
Like virtually every website, this one runs on a web server that automatically logs basic technical information for each visit — your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security and technical operation. We don't access or analyze these logs beyond troubleshooting; they're kept only as long as our hosting provider's standard technical logs require.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — which pages are popular, roughly where visitors come from, and general engagement — so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes standard technical data (like your IP address, browser, device, and pages viewed) on Google's own servers, which may be located outside the EU. We don't use this data for advertising, and we don't combine it with anything else that identifies you. You can opt out anytime with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser's privacy settings. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google itself handles this data. We don't use advertising pixels or any other third-party tracking tool beyond this.
Local storage
The site uses your browser's sessionStorage to remember small, temporary things during your visit — for example, so Marvin's welcome message or a scripted animation doesn't replay every time you scroll. This data never leaves your browser, isn't linked to your identity, and is cleared automatically when you close the tab.
Fonts
Our pixel fonts are hosted directly on our own server, not loaded from Google Fonts or any other third party — so visiting this site never sends your data to an external font provider.
If you email us
If you write to [email protected], we'll have your email address and whatever you tell us, used only to reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list or share it with anyone.
External links
This site links out to itch.io, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and X so you can see our games and social presence. Once you click through, you're on their site, governed by their own privacy policy — not this one.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, or delete any personal data we might hold about you (realistically, just an email you sent us), or ask questions about this policy, by writing to [email protected].
Changes
We'll update this page if anything about how the site handles data changes. Last updated: 24 July 2026.
