// ABOUT US

We craft advergames, from design to programming.

At Marvin Advergames, we don't just build games — we breathe life into brands. From the very first concept to that triumphant "Level Complete," we craft vibrant, bite-sized universes where your product stars in its own epic.

Our vision

Imagine every click, jump and power-up forging a deeper bond between customer and brand. We're on a quest to spark that magic, transforming passive audiences into engaged players and devoted fans.

The mission

We blend retro nostalgia with modern mechanics to design advergames that delight, and deliver. By weaving your brand's story into addictive game loops, we turn fleeting impressions into lasting memories and measurable ROI.

Our story

Marvin Advergames was founded in 2021, born out of a pivot into retro video game development. Since then, our small international team has shipped branded games for musicians, esports teams and consumer brands across Europe and beyond — always in the same nostalgia-powered, story-driven style.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an advergame take to build?

Most projects take a few weeks from kickoff to launch. Simpler formats like Arcade Minimal or One Screen ship fastest; multi-level platformers and multiplayer titles take longer.

Do we need to provide art or assets?

No — we design, animate and code everything in-house. If you already have brand guidelines, logos or characters, we're happy to build around them.

Do players need to download anything?

No. Every advergame runs straight in the browser on desktop and mobile, so people can jump in from a link, QR code or embedded widget with zero friction.

Which game styles do you offer?

Our portfolio shows arcade minimal, one-screen, endless runner, platformer, shoot 'n' run, beat 'em up and multiplayer PvP — but those are examples, not limits. Puzzle, point-and-click, physics-based mechanics, any other retro style: if you can picture it, we can build it. See the Portfolio for a taste of what we've shipped.

What is gamified marketing?

It's advertising you actually want to interact with — turning a brand message into a playable experience instead of something people scroll past. Gamification borrows real game mechanics (levels, rewards, challenges) to make a campaign memorable instead of forgettable.

How is an advergame different from a banner ad or a regular social post?

A banner ad interrupts; an advergame invites. Instead of asking for a few seconds of attention, a playable game earns minutes of genuine engagement — and every level, character or power-up is a chance to reinforce your brand instead of just displaying it.

Can gamification work for niche audiences, like esports fans or a band's community?

It's actually where it works best. Our clients include esports orgs like Team Vitality and bands like Sabaton and Beast in Black — audiences that already speak the language of games, levels and challenges, so a well-made advergame lands as a genuine extension of the culture, not an ad wedged into it.

Do interactive campaigns actually perform better than traditional ads?

Playable content keeps people engaged far longer than a static ad or video — minutes instead of seconds — and every interaction (a level completed, a score shared) is a measurable signal of real interest, not just an impression.
